Things to know when dieting


1. EAT healthier food

Those who have failed lots of times losing weight often rely on sports supplements such as fat blaster, cellulite burner tablets or other some sort of powder. 
Try not to take these things. They don't help you lose weight and can even ruin your physical condition. Prepare some healthier foods for yourself everyday. For example, tofu and veges which contain a small amount of calories are good foods that you are supposed to take daily basis. 

2. Don't eat while watching TV.   

Many studies have proven that people tend to eat much when watching TV.
Unconsciously, you would take more calories than you need when you focus on one thing like watching TV. So it is a good idea to prepare a bowl and put adequate amount of food in it. 




3. Check your weight everyday

Weighing yourself regularly helps to keep you accountable. It also keeps weight loss at the forefront of your mind . It is a useful part of a successful diet and exercise program. It keeps you accountable. It also motivates you to do things differently if what you’re doing isn't working. For example, if you're keep gaining weight over a week, then you need to check your dietary changes that you've recently applied. 
A thing you need to remember is don't be too sensitive about a slight change :)

4. Work out at least 3 times a week. 

Keep your body fit!!
Cardio-exercise is really good for your health. 
Work out hard with weights(weight training) to maintain a toned body 

5. Eat fruit daily

Fruit contains a great amount of vitamin, water, dietary fibre and so forth. 
Eating various fruits can leave you feeling satisfied and can help you prevent constipation. 




6. Don't skip breakfast

Well balanced meal with carbohydrate, protein and a small amount of fat can also help you maintain blood sugar levels

7. Stay away from alcohol

Some people may think that having liquor without nibbles would be OK; however, drinking alcohol could promote your appetite. 




8. Sleep well.

Studies prove that sleeping 30mins longer than usual can contribute to prevent binge eating. 
When you don't sleep enough, you would probably try to have some junk food. So SLEEP WELL!!


9. Just imagine your appearance that you've been dreaming of. 

 When you feel weakened while dieting, imagine your future appearance that you've been dreaming of.

The color blue acts to calm the brain's appetite centre. 
It will help you lose appetite.  Some of you may realised why I wrote this post in blue colour font :)
BUT!! REMEMBER!! Do NOT try to eat nothing but try to reduce your calorie intake instead.

Health benefits of tomato have been known to mankind since ages. Tomato is a rich source of antioxidants that have been proven to be effective against many forms of cancer. Some of the other health benefits of tomato are as follows:



* Abundant Source of Antioxidants: Tomato contains large amount of lycopene, an antioxidant highly effective in scavenging cancer causing free radicals. This benefit can be obtained from even heat-processed tomato products, including ketchup. The lycopene in tomato fights against cancer and has been shown to be particularly effective in fighting prostate cancer, cervical cancer, cancer of the stomach and rectum as well as pharynx and oesophageal cancers. It also protects againstbreast cancer and cancer of mouth according to studies published by Harvard School of Public Health.
Reduces Cholesterol and Protects Heart:The lycopene in tomato prevents serum lipid oxidation, thus exerting protective effect against cardiovascular diseases. The regular consumption of tomato has proved to decrease the levels of LDL cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood. These lipids are the key culprits in cardiovascular diseases and lead to deposition of fats in the blood vessels.
* Rich Source of Vitamins and Minerals: A single tomato can provide about 40% of daily vitamin Crequirement. Vitamin C is a natural antioxidant which acts against cancer-causing free radicals. It also contains abundant vitamin A and potassium as well as iron. Potassium plays a vital role in maintaining nerve health and iron is essential for maintaining normal blood health. Vitamin K which is essential inblood clotting and controls bleeding is abundant in tomatoes.
* Counters the Effect of Cigarette Smoke: The two main components of tomatoes, coumaric acid and chlorogenic acid, fight against nitrosamines which are produced in the body and are the main carcinogens found in cigarette smoke.
* Improves Vision: Vitamin A, present in tomato aids, aids in improving vision, preventing night-blindness and macular degeneration.
* Keeps Gut Healthy: Tomato keeps the digestive system healthy by preventing both constipation and diarrhoea. It also prevents jaundice and effectively removes toxins from the body.

* Lowers Hypertension: Daily consumption of tomatoes reduces the risk of developing hypertension.
* Alleviates Diabetes: A study conducted by Journal of the American Medical Association shows that daily consumption of tomatoes reduces the oxidative stress in type 2 diabetes.
* For Healthy Skin: Tomato aids in maintaining healthy teeth, bones, hair and skin. Topical application of tomato juice is known to cure severe sunburns. Daily consumption of tomato protects the skin against UV-induced erythema. Tomato ranks high in preparation of anti-aging products.
* Prevents Urinary Tract Infections: Tomato intake also reduces the incidence of urinary tract infections as well as bladder cancer.
* Prevents Gallstones: Regular consumption of tomato can also dissolve gallstones.
There have been various studies to prove the efficacy of tomato against many chronic diseases and cancers. The antioxidant properties of tomato can also be derived from processed foods which include tomato such as ketchup and puree. Daily consumption of tomato fulfils the daily requirement of vitamins and minerals and exerts protective effect on the body.

Tips for getting SILKY HAIR!

Rainy season has come in Korea :)

We'll be looking at few tips to have great hair today. 




Jun, Ji-Hyun's silky hair. Everyone wants to have.
You can also get silky hair like her by just changing your life style




I've got to tell you how to have beautiful hair. 

 


TIP 1. Wash your face at least twice a day




this will get rid of bacteria and germs on your face 
which can lead to your hair getting dirty.
Use good products that you know will be good for your hair.




TIP 2. Do not brush your hair too much when you wash your hair




This can cause oil and grease to build up,
and also can irritate the scalp badly. 
This MEANS the hair root could be damaged 
Consequently, it can have a bad influence on growing your hair.
SO!! Again I say, please wash your hair smoothly. 








TIP 3. When you dry your hair, don't rub it with the towel. 




Wet/damp hair is the weakest state. 
So, if you rub/dry it with a towel, there are major chances some will fall out.
It can also irritate not only your hair but also the scalp. You can blot it. 
You could also dry it with a blow dryer, but not too often. 
Try to use cool air when you use dryer. 






The best way to have silky hair is to let your hair dry naturally,
but if you really want to dye hair or have a perm, and need to use a hairdressing tools.
Try not to use them and have a perm frequently. 
Your hair should be protected from curlers, straighteners etc.
